kanthari offers a fully funded one-year leadership training program for those who have overcome adversity and who are keen to drive ethical social change.

The kanthari curriculum addresses all skills and tools that are required to start and sustainably run impact-making organizations. The 12-months course is divided into two parts: 7 months residential at the kanthari campus in Kerala and 5 months mentorship support. The leadership course is accessible for the visually impaired and/or people with physical disabilities.

Eligibilities

  • Applicants need to be 22 years of age or older (no upper age limit) and must have:
  • A plan to create an impactful social project/venture or initiative,
  • Intermediary English skills (reading, writing, and speaking), and
  • Basic knowledge of how to use a computer

  The Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund Application Deadline: September 5, 2022 The Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund was established in 2012 , with generous support from The ALBORADA Trust. The Fund supports pairs of researchers (post-doctoral level and above) from the University of Cambridge (or an affiliated institution such as the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, NIAB and British Antarctic Survey) and sub-Saharan African institutions, across all disciplines, to initiate and/or strengthen research collaborations.
