Apply for a scholarship program to learn the skills you need to empower yourself and create the life you imagined.

The goal of the Skillshare with Impact Scholarship Program is to give back to local communities that we call home away from home. They want to support global citizens to learn new skills while at the same time empowering locals to do the same.

Scholarships are available for local communities to learn digital skills at an affordable rate, no matter where they are.

Anyone can apply for a scholarship to join one of our self-paced online courses, receiving 80 – 100% financial coverage.

Benefits

Successful applicants will receive between 80% to 100% funding to any of the Nomads! Skillshare courses offered.

  • Min. 18 years of age
  • Good understanding of English
  • Intermediate or above computer skills
  • Time commitment and dedication

  The Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund Application Deadline: September 5, 2022 The Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund was established in 2012 , with generous support from The ALBORADA Trust. The Fund supports pairs of researchers (post-doctoral level and above) from the University of Cambridge (or an affiliated institution such as the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, NIAB and British Antarctic Survey) and sub-Saharan African institutions, across all disciplines, to initiate and/or strengthen research collaborations. To date, more than 260 awards have been made, to enable Cambridge researchers to engage with African colleagues from 31 African countries.
